Current Consumer Link
The
U.S. Food and Drug Administration on June 1,
2007 issued a warning to
consumers to avoid using tubes of toothpaste
labeled as made in China. The agency
issued an import alert to prevent toothpaste
containing the poisonous chemical
diethylene glycol (DEG) from entering the
country.
The
American Dental Association has posted an
advisory about the FDA recall on ADA.org.

This is
essentially an "in house" private practice
where full time University of Florida
College of Dentistry residents treat
patients. Because
of high demand our clinic accepts patients
on a limited basis, new patients are
accepted as treatment of existing patients
is complete.
Emergency care is available to anyone
requiring relief from pain. We see the
first eight patients at our door at 7:30
am. The wait could exceed several hours, so
please be prepared. We make very effort to
see our patients in a timely manner. Our
emergency clinic offers extractions,
initiation of root canal therapy, temporary
fillings, and other relief of pain
procedures only.
